EUnetHTA Vision, Mission, Aims

Launched in November 2008, the EUnetHTA Collaboration focuses on HTA in Europe to facilitate efficient use of resources available for HTA, to create a sustainable system of HTA knowledge sharing, and to promote good practice in HTA methods and processes.

EUnetHTA Values

The partners in the EUnetHTA Collaboration share the overarching values of the European Union for health systems: universality, access to good quality care, equity and solidarity.

EUnetHTA Vision

To contribute to the generation of HTAs to inform policy and healthcare decision making in European countries so that new health technologies can be adopted and obsolete technologies abandoned in a well-informed and robust manner, hence bringing about high quality, safe, accessible, sustainable, ethical and efficient health care for citizens across Europe.

To support effective HTA collaboration in Europe that brings added value at the European, national and regional level.
