EUnetHTA Joint Action on HTA
The EUnetHTA Collaboration has received an initial positive opinion of the Executive Agency for Health and Consumers (EAHC) on its application for Joint Action on HTA. The Joint Action is to be launched in January 2010 to be carried out during 3 years. Currently the EUnetHTA Joint Action’s content and budget is being detailed further in collaboration with the partners and the European Commission.

The EUnetHTA Collaboration Plenary Assembly meeting is to be held on September 28-29, 2009 in Seville, Spain. The EUnetHTA Joint Action Associated Partners join the Founding Partners of the EUnetHTA Collaboration in discussions of the current EUnetHTA Collaboration development, stakeholder involvement policy in EUnetHTA activities, governance and organisational structure and long-term development plans of the EUnetHTA Collaboration.

Stakeholder involement in HTA meeting, November 6, 2009, Brussels, Belgium
The EUnetHTA Collaboration and the European Commission is organizing a meeting on the stakeholder involvement in HTA on November 6, 2009 in Brussels with participation of the representatives from the EU umbrella stakeholder organisations. The participants will have the opportunity to discuss more precisely and concretely the stakeholders' involvement in the EUnetHTA Joint Action as well as general issue of the stakeholders involvement in HTA.
Summary of discussions will be made avaialble on the EUnetHTA website. The participants invited to this event are the pan-european umbrella organisations specialised in health.
