Welcome to EUnetHTA PROJECT 2006-2008 Stakeholder Open Forum Website!
Please be informed that the content of EUnetHTA Project 2006-2008 Stakeholder Open Forum website refers to the information from the EUnetHTA Project 2006-2008.
Objective of EUnetHTA Stakeholder Open Forum
EUnetHTA places a high value on the contribution of stakeholders and wishes to take their views and expectations into account in the process of developing a sustainable collaboration for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in Europe. Therefore the Stakeholder Open Forum was created. The forum includes this website, which provides information from EUnetHTA to stakeholders, as well as stakeholder activities where direct interaction between EUnetHTA members and stakeholders are encouraged.
The overall aim of the Stakeholder Forum is to constitute a sustainable open forum for EUnetHTA to exchange views and expectations on HTA processes and the future development of EUnetHTA with stakeholders. The activities in the Stakeholder Open Forum are for now targeted at providing input for decision making concerning the role and involvement of stakeholders in the future EUnetHTA Collaboration.
Objective of this website
The overall aim of this website is to provide easy access for stakeholders to information from EUnetHTA. The website is thought of as a source site for information rather than an actual platform for direct communication. Debate and exchange of views can instead happen at stakeholder meetings and conferences, which will also be announced at this webpage.
The website contains among others information on ongoing activities such as meetings and conferences which may be of interest for stakeholders (read more), documents on HTA which may be of general interest for stakeholders (read more), syntheses of stakeholder opinions on different topics and links to stakeholder position papers (read more) and contact information to EUnetHTA (read more).
Stakeholder groups
The activities in the Stakeholder Forum are directed primarily to five stakeholder groups:
- Policymakers at regional level
- Policymakers at institutional level
- Patient organisations
- Healthcare professionals
- Industry
As the activities of the Stakeholder Open Forum are focused at the European level, the stakeholder groups are limited to include European umbrella organisations.
